What is Scannabar Free Pour System?

Scannabar is a unique & revolutionary way of managing your alcoholic beverages. With one Scannabar system, regardless the number of point of sales, you'll be able to control your liquor inventory and the quantity poured from all of your bottles at all your bars.

How does the system work?

The system works via a radio frequency bar code reader and our unique software. Our universal ribbons, which are identical for all your bottles, are used to measure the quantity of alcohol in your bottles.The Scannabar label creates a unique identity for all your bottles, similar to a license plate on a car.No downloading necessary, the information is sent directly to your office and the number crunching is done immediately.

What is the use of the ribbon & label?

The ribbon is used to measure the different levels of alcohol in your bottles. You simply scan across the level of the alcohol in your bottle, and the system will tell you exactly what was poured and what is left in each bottle. The numbered label is used to give a unique identity to each of your bottles that will track your bottles from purchase date all the way to the recycling bin.

Do I have to apply a ribbon & label
on each of my bottles?

Yes, each bottle gets a universal ribbon to measure the levels and a label for uniqueness.

How does the system recognize
the different shaped bottles?

Each of the bottles is scientifically and individually calibrated.
This allows our software to recognize the size, shape, volume
and contour of each bottle to maximize accuracy.

Are the ribbons and labels resistant?

They have been tested in the most rigorous environments. From the freezer to the bar fridge, speed rails, ice bins… all the necessary testing has been done and each test were passed successfully.

What if I read above the actual level of alcohol?

The Scannabar system is a tamper proof-resistant system. It recognizes that the liquor can only go down and not up, and keeps in memory previous reads. If a user reads above the previous level, the user will immediately receive a warning.

What equipment am I going to receive
with the purchase of the Scannabar system?

You will receive the latest version of Scannabar along with a choice of bar code readers.

What are the offered guarantees?

The software maintenance is done on-line with unlimited free service calls. We will be there to answer all of your questions
and solve any minor problems you may have 7 days per week.

What kind of reports can the system generate?

Acquisition, Movement and Measure reports.

How often should reports be generated?

This is really up to you. You can perform it as often as you want. Ex: at the beginning and at the end of each shift, once a day, once a week; but the tighter the control the better the results.
